Lesson 1 (First Years)

Natalie yawned as she entered her office. She was rather excited even though she was bloody tired.

New little freshes!

She clapped her hands together at the thought.
She wondered to herself if this class would be dumber or wiser than the class before them.

She went to the chalkboard and wrote "Rockology. Lesson One." on it and then seated herself on her desk, her familiar grey ball next to it.

She grinned. This was going to be fun.

Alec walked into the classroom, the first thing he saw being the crazy smile on his professor's face.

Great. I got the whako teacher, Alec thought bitterly.

Sighing, he took a seat as far away from the Rockology professor as possible.

The first thing that Lizbet saw when she entered the Rockology Classroom was a big grey ball next to the teacher's desk.

She raised her eyebrows. What the heck?

She then looked over the classroom, picking herself a spot in the back.
There was only one other kid in there, a brown haired boy she thought she reconized from some other classes.

Marie was not excited for this class.
She had no talent at all with rocks!
But Lily had all of the talent in this class.

As she entered the classroom, Marie smiled at the teacher but was weird-ed out by the grey thing next to her.
There were two kids sitting in the back together, but Marie hated the back.
She sat in the middle and pondered what the grey thing was.
Probably a rock. Lily decided.

Natalie narrowed her eyes;
Three?

She knew she didn't have many students, but she knew they were more than three.
She narrowed her eyes more, taking a look over her class.

"Good day." she finally greeted after a long time of silence before pushing herself off her desk. "Your fellow classmates are about to learn what happens if they are late into my class." she gave away a yawn, walking over to the chalkboard and pointing her dark brown wand at the word "Rockology."

"But first. Who wants to be the first person to tell me what 'Rockology' means?"

To say that Professor Wyatt freaked Alec out would be an understatement. She scared him. Period. Despite this feeling, he couldn't stop the curiosity from welling up. What would happen to the late students?

Alec, going against all of the warning bells in his head that told him to shut the hell up, raised his hand to answer the question. "The study of rocks?" Even though he meant to say it as a statement, he couldn't keep it from sounding like a question.

Rocks.
Of course he'd answer with "rocks"
That is what student after student in class after class answered.

She gave away a dramatic sigh as she pointed her wand at the chalkboard and watched as "Rocks." formed on it.

She rolled her eyes at the boy. "You are very smart aren't you Mister Sparx? Rock-ology. How could you ever have guessed rocks?" she let out a small laugh. "Yes we will be discussing rocks. Five stars to Lacerta." she clapped her hands together in fake happiness. "Now other than rocks, if you guys take the time to actually think and outside the box, what comes to mind?" as she asked the question she slowly walked towards the grey ball and sat on it, bounching up and down a little with a grin.

Nat sighed, eye-ing the clock.
No one seemed to answer.

She stood up. "I hope you will all be more active in next lessons." She sighed again. "The answer is "Rock" we'll be discussing Rock music as well."

She waved a hand at the door. "You can all leave now, I hope to see you all on time next time. I'm half sad I can't show you what happens to those that are late. But I advice you not to be late. Also, ten points from everyone that didn't show up for the lesson."
