Meet me halfway [Rose and Liz]

Rose was curled up in her chair, knees brushing the edge of the table in front of her as she sipped her drink. She'd been bored stupid just sitting in her dorm, so she'd come here to try and amuse herself. Normally there was someone here that was willing to strike up a conversation with her, but not today, apparently.

Lizbet walked into the Mars Café, looking around.

She was bored.
EXTREMELY bored, and she wanted to do something fun, something random.

So she kept looking around, until she spotted a brunette sitting - curled - up in a chair, she seemed rather bored.

Liz sighed to her self; there it goes. "Hello." she coughed out when close enough and plopped on the seat oppose the curled up brunette.

Roslyn glanced up from her drink, already glad of the company. "Hi," she said, drumming her fingers on her mug.

Lizzie sniggered a little, usually people would be startled to see a random people sitting in front of them, but this girl was completely calm.

"Hi." Liz repeated, amused. "So who are you curled up brunette?" she asked.

Liz was rather curious to see how the girl would react to her forwardness.

Roslyn laughed. "I'm Roslyn, curious redhead" she said, unfolding her legs and grimacing as she realized how long she'd been sitting like that.

Liz scowled a little, well "redhead" was loads better than "ginger".

"Roslyn? That's a curious name. Do you go to pigfarts? Let me guess, red is the rose. Rose is red... Lacerta?" she grinned, she loved playing with names.

Roslyn raised her eyebrows. "You're good," she said, laughing a little. "Now it's my turn. Who on Mars are you?" she asked, setting her drink down on the table.

Liz beamed at the compliment. Or at least she decided it was a good compliment.

"I am Lizbet Marie Frost." She said, flipping her head over to one shoulder. "Radiant red head, soon to attend Pigfarts. Sister of several siblings, related to several people. And I'm amazing." she added with a little grin.

Roslyn drummed her fingers on the table, trying to remember if she knew anyone with Liz's last name. "Stupid question," she said, settling back in her seat and then tucking her legs up under her. "Are you a firstie, or are you transferring from somewhere?"

"First year." Liz scowled.

She sighed and lean back "So flower, do you know ... Melly Frost?" she asked, glancing over her shoulder to look for a waiter or waitress, she was really thirsty.

Rose nodded. "She helped me find my dress for the dance," she said, smiling. "How do you know her?"

Liz smiled, everyone seemed to know Melly, she wasn't sure if that was good or bad.

She shrugged. "Cousin, pyscho ginger, talks a lot. It's hard NOT knowing her." She gave away a little laugh.

"So Flower, have any favorite classes?" she then asked, wanting to keep the conversation alive.

Roslyn smiled. "Not really. I'm neutral on all of them. I'm only a fan of writing and reading when it's not about rockology" she said, shrugging and finishing off her drink. "What about you?"

Liz raised her eyebrows. "So Rockology is a subject I shouldn't take?"

She then gave away a little sigh, she was very thirsty, she leaned back in her seat and waved a waiter over.

He was a young boy, probably eighteen or so, had rather gorgeous eyes and a beautiful smile and brown hair.
"Chocolate coffee please," she said and couldn't stop from batting her eyes.

"Of course Miss." the waiter then turned to Rose. "Anything for you?"

Liz giggled, she hadn't know a Café had so formal waiters.

"I wouldn't mind another cappuccino," Rose said, smiling and raising an eyebrow at Liz. "You should take Rockology. It's an interesting class, but the textbook is probably related to Satan" she rolled her eyes.

Liz watched the waiter walk away, sighing a little dreamily, he had a nice butt.

"Rockology huh?" she said as she snapped out of it. "Possibly. It's the study of what? Rocks?"

"Mhm," Roslyn murmured, glancing at the waiter and then shaking her head. "It sounds like the most redundant subject ever, but it's actually quite interesting"

Lizbet laughed. "Mel told me the teacher is a whacko. She doesn't even take the class, but she still thinks the teacher is insane." she grinned a little.

Her grin became wider when the waiter came back with their drinks. He truly was yummy.

Roslyn raised her eyebrows at Liz but didn't say anything until the waiter had left. "Keep your eyes in your head, dear" she teased, wrapping her hands around the warm drink. "I think he's a little old for you"

Liz rolled her eyes, but didn't help from grinning. "But he is rather yummyfull isn't he? I mean look a those eyes! Believe it or not, I did look at the eyes." she smiled sheepishly.

She then leaned forwards. "So Flower, not a fan of the boys then eh?"

Roslyn laughed and then shook her head. "No, it's the boys that don't like me," she said, making a face.

Liz raised her eyebrows at Rose's statement.

She looked the brunette over, she was rather pretty, had lush hair and pretty eyes.

"Really?" her eyebrows rose again. "Are you sure it's not just you that doesn't notice them noticing you?"

Roslyn shrugged. "I don't know," she said, sipping her cappuccino. "If they do notice, then I don't see it, and I'm pretty observant" she said, shaking her head. "It's not the end of the world. I figure if they did, my grade would probably hit rock bottom"

Liz frowned. "But I love boys. Boys are... like chocolate, they are needed." Liz grin.

She did indeed love boys and the attention.. and the want. Yes, she liked the want.

She liked being wanted. She needed to be wanted.

Rose shrugged. "I guess that mean's I'm just not a chocolate person" she said, smiling at Liz. "Not all of us can be Marilyn Monroe reincarnated" she teased, shaking her hair out of her eyes.
