Matthew's breath hitched when he felt Ari's breath on his neck, and he feared his heart stopped for a moment when he felt her nose against his neck. He felt all his inhibitions slip away from him, even the usual nervousness that clouded up his mind seemed to have gone away. He didn't know what had caused it, he couldn't say why he felt so at ease. He just knew that he did.

He slipped down a few inches on the couch, and one of his hands slipped into Ari's hair, pulling her head up a little. He felt her warm breath against his face, and then before he realized what he was doing, he had pressed his lips against hers.

Ari's head was tilted upwards, her breath catching. Was he going to -? And then his lips met hers and she brought her hands up, winding them into his hair as she kissed back, feeling dizzy and intoxicated as she did so. She felt a little as if she was clinging on by her fingertips as she pulled herself up.

Oh Merlin. Melanie's little brother, for all his confidence problems, could kiss good.

Matthew could feel all his nerves leave his body, felt himself go incredibly relaxed as Ari kissed him back. She actually kissed him back. At that moment he didn't care she was a lot older than him. Five years wasn't that much, was it? It wasn't even important that she was his sisters friend. All of those things weren't important anymore. All that was important were her lips on his.

Because her lips were soft and pliant and perfect and Matthew honestly couldn't think about anything else even if he tried.

Ari snatched a breath, feeling dizzy and breathless in a way that she hadn't felt for a while. She didn't even care about the age gap or the family thing or that his younger sister called her auntie - she didn't care.

"Wow," she murmured, before she smiled, breathing deeply, grabbing his jumper and leaning back into the sofa, pulling him down with her, before returning her hands to his hair and kissing him again, opening her lips a little.

Matthew actually thought the world was spinning, and when Ari pulled back to breath, he finally gulped in a great amount of air himself. He forgot he was supposed to breathe.

Before he even had the time to get nervous again, she was pulling him down on the couch and then they were kissing again. His hands slipped out of her hair and stroked down her back, starting to draw careful figures on the clothed skin. His lips closed around her slightly parted bottom lip and he sucked gently. He didn't know how he knew what to do, but he just did.

Ari moaned a little into the kiss as he sucked on her bottom lip and started running his hands on her back, closing her eyes. Her hand slipped beneath his jumper and shirt, touching the bare skin of his chest gently, her other arm wrapping around his neck.

Somewhere in the back of her mind, she was aware that she shouldn't be doing this. The front of it was screaming for more.

Matthew moaned as Ari did, continuing to nibble on her lip. His eyes slipped closed when he felt her warm hand on the bare skin of his chest. His eyes nearly flew open again, but he forced them remain closed. He forced himself to stay relaxed. And just enjoy what was happening. Even though part of his brain was screaming, yelling, howling that he should stop this. But he didn't want to.

His hand dared to slip lower, and then they were also slipping into Ari's shirt, or at least one of them was. The skin on her back felt warm and smooth and perfect. His fingers started to dance over the naked skin while they kissed, moaning again.

Ari moaned again as his hand found it's way up her shirt, and she broke the kiss, breathing hard. She turned around to look at him, pushing herself up further, before taking his free hand and slipping from underneath him so she was standing up. The part of her mind opposed to this must have fainted in shock as she pulled him to his feet.

"If you want to," she whispered, "the house is free." Oh God. What was she doing?

Matthew's eyes widened comically when she pulled him up to his feet. He could feel his nervousness starting to return, but he used all of his might to keep it away. He refused to be nervous. He didn't want to be nervous right now. There was absolutely no need to be nervous.

Except that he was snogging his five year older sister's best friend. No. No need to be nervous.

He swallowed and then nodded. "I want to," he muttered, and to his surprise, even his stutter stayed out.

....................................................................................................................................................
There was something odd about her room, but Ari couldn't put her finger on it as she woke up. Something about her bed...

Oh. There was someone in it.

The memories flooded back and Ari grinned a little at Matthew. But oh Merlin, when she thought about it, that had been stupid. Really stupid. Completely daft.

It had been good though.

When Matthew woke up, it took him a while to realize where he was. And why there was a weight on his shoulder. And why he wasn't wearing a shirt. But when he did, the memories from last night came flooding back to him, and in a second, all of Matt's nerves were back. The only thing that kept him lying still on the bed instead of fleeing was the fact that Ari was still sleeping on his shoulder, and Matthew didn't want to wake her.

He had no idea how much time had passed when she turned her head and grinned at him.

"Oh M-merlin Ari, I'm s-sor-sorry, I d-didn't m-mean t-to," he stammered softly, even though he had no idea what he was apologizing for. He just felt like he should apologize.

Ari narrowed her eyes at Matthew, before laughing and hitting him with her pillow. "What for, you muppet?" she asked, reaching for a jumper and throwing it over the top of her.

She yawned, stretching her arms out behind her, and leant back against the headboard, smirking down at him as she hit him with the pillow again.

Re: Watching America

Post by Lizbet McKinnon on Mon Apr 16, 2012 2:17 pm

Lizbet had been quite surprised, when she had come back to auntie Ari's place after her night out. She'd seen a familiar coat on the couch, which had made her curious.

Next she had walked towards a bedroom, and quietly opened the door and inside she seen what had been so surprising.

Her auntie Ari and her brother Mattie, in the same bed, sleeping almost on top of each other.

Grinning, the red head had formed a plan in her head, grabbed few pillows and made herself a bed in front of the door, waiting for the two to wake up.

In the morning, Ari and Matthew talking had woken her up and she had waited for the perfect chance to strike.

Lizbet pushed the door open, walked in and grinned. Without saying a word the girl crawled into the bed, placed herself in the middle, between Ari and Matthew.

Next she placed her arms behind her head and looked from Ari to Matthew, smirking.

"So... You had sex?"

Matthew felt the weight of the pillow hit him in the head and he fell back against the mattress. Ari sat up and he kept lying on his back, staring up at her face as she watched him. And then hit him with the pillow again. She was right though, he had no idea what he was apologizing for.

Before he could say anything else though, the door to the bedroom opened. Matt's jaw fell open as he watched his little sister climb into bed with them. She was silent until she was settled. But her question caught him utterly of guard, and his eyes widened even more.

"I..w-we.." was all he got out.

Oh, yay. Liz was home.

Her sort-of niece (oh bloody hell, she was her niece, and this was her niece's brother) scrambled in between them, looking between them, and Ari bit back a sigh, before smiling. "Lizzie! You know how to make an entrance."

She rubbed her face and neck, raising her eyebrows and putting her arm around Liz's shoulders. "I don't know, Liz. You should guess. What do you think?"

Liz smirked, but hid it with a smile. The red head beamed, again looking from her aunt and her brother. "I'd say you did!" she announced, crossing her feet. "I'm impressed."

The girl looked at her brother, not managing to hide her smirk anymore. "I didn't think you had it in you, Mattie." she winked, turning to Ariadne. "Truly, I'm impressed, I'm sure Melanie will be too when I tell her."

Mel wouldn't. Oh, Mel soooo wouldn't. Mel would be furious and Liz knew that was going to be hilarious.

"You c-can't tell her!" Matthew yelped, eyes wide as he turned to Lizbet with flaming cheeks. "She'll k-kill m-me!" he stammered, turning to Ari for help.

This was terrible. How was he supposed to know what to do now? He didn't know what to do. He was just freaking out. He couldn't help that he liked Ari, could he? He shouldn't like her, but he did. And for some reason she liked him too. Matthew hid his face in his hands as he didn't dare to look at Liz or Ari anymore. He decided to be silent.

Ari grinned at Liz and raised her eyebrows a little. "Is this an attempt at blackmail, Liz?" she asked, pushing herself into a sitting position. "Bring it on. Look, nothing happened that you'll have any interest in. Plus where were you, young lady?" To be honest, Ari didn't mind Liz being out, she knew the girl could look after herself.

She laughed when she looked at Matthew with his face buried in his hands. He was so sweet in comparison to Lizbet. She bit on her lip and shrugged. "Come on, I'll cook us some breakfast."
