Loony's Sketchbook of Words

Post by Laura McKinnon on Wed May 02, 2012 2:17 am

Auntie Terra told me to write in you, Sketchbook I shall fill with Words. She said it might help me stay focused more. I doubt it.

It really sucks tht you're not a sketchbook, but whatever. I guess I can work on my penmenship now. That should be fun. I guess. It's not like my handwriting is bad though
. I mean, I'm an artist! Having bad handwriting is like not being able to draw a straight line!

Bleh. I hate this pen. Aunt Terra charmed it so that every time I put it down it changes color. She said it's supposed to show me how many times I get distracted. I don't want to admit that she's right. I do have SASS.

Short. Attention. Span. Syndrome.

I hate that she wants me to explain everything. I mean, really? Who else but me is going to read this? I think it's just 'cause I told her I didn't know what to write.

Anyway, Terra's my almost aunt. She's my uncle's best friend. She's nice too. And she has a ghost in her attic. Ergh, that attic is gross. It's so so so gross. I just want to die when I think about it. Blegh.

I have to go. Terra wants me to help her make dinner or something.

Hope I don't burn the house down,

Laura

Awkward Laura. I hate her. She makes me feel so guilty it's not even funny! Whenever I see Willow, Whenever I notice Willow, I feel extremely guilty.

She's my sister and I constantly forget about her. What kind of elder sister does that make me?
A bad one. I can't believe I actually had to think about that!

Gah!

I'm so stupid!

Lowie must hate me. Yes. She must. She probably knows that I sometimes don't remember her when I'm talking about my family. Damn. I don't want her to hate me! She has every right to, though.

Why is this color so gross?

Stooop.

Stop being yellow.

Stop being grooooooss!!!

Screw this,

Laura

P.S. IT'S NOT YELLOW ANYMORE~!!!

Dear Sketchbook of Words,

Where the hell are our parents while my siblings are getting drunk?

Slightly befuddled,

Laura.

P.S. I can't believe I lost interest in my mural... *sigh*

I've discovered...*dramatic pause*...SERIOUS LAURA!

DUN! Dun! Duuuuun...

She's not that serious, really. But, alas! She knows the dreaded emotions!

Anger. Sadness. And, worst of all, boredom.

I hate her.

Serious Laura sucks. She should go die in a hole. Oh, crap. Here she comes. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.

Slowly Being Taken Over By Serious Laura As I Notice That Sir Renaldi Has Used My Old Sketchbook of Doodles As A Litterbox,

Complete, utter, and total eclipse of the taste buds. Merlin! I feel so...so...exhilarated!

Mel took me out for ice cream. Not sure why though. Now that I think about it, she kind of owes me butterbeer. What ever happened to those bottles in the fridge anyway? Mel couldn't have taken them, could she?

...

Oh! Right! I was starting to get off track. Heh...heh...heheh... Right.

*insert sheepish smile here*

Anywaaay, Mel took me out for ice cream, and guess what?

Guess!

GUESS DAMN IT!

Oh, right. You're a book. I totally remembered that...

Ahem.

THEY HAD BUTTERBEER FLAVORED ICE CREAM!!!!

My life is now complete.

Well, it'll be complete when i make the world's prettiest garden.

And when I draw a mural of it.

And when I actually see Mel keep a job.

And tell Liz that I do, in fact, love her.

And make it up to Willow for barely noticing her.

And see Oddie graduate from Pigfarts.

And have Terra tell me that she's pregnant, which would also mean that that woman finally lost it. I mean, seriously? Even I've had sex. It wasn't anything amazing. Kinda boring, to be honest. And messy. Really, really messy.

Well, yeah. You get the point. Butterbeer ice cream? Looks like I can check that off my bucketlist.

P.S. I'd be a sexy stripper. (;

Dear Sketchbook/Diary,

I have come to a most shocking conclusion. Not only am I writing this using vocabulary that most do not believe I am capable of utilizing, but I have suddenly realized something utterly disconcerting.

I have no companions outside of my family.

SECRET CONFESSION THAT SHALL NEVER LEAVE THIS SKETCHBOOK OF WORDS

Sometimes I wish I didn't have brothers so that I didn't have to get dressed in the morning.

There's a reason I lock my door at night. Sleeping in a sports bra and undies is really comfortable. I hate that I have to get dressed just to eat breakfast...

What the hell is 'science'? When I was on Earth, I kept hearing these muggles go on and on about it, saying that they hated something called 'jeneticks'.

They started talking about feenotypes and jeenotypes.

I'm used to feeling lost, but that just made me feel like an idiot.

Damn muggles.

I don't even know why I brought that up.

I don't even know how I remembered that.

I feel a feeling that I do not like feeling, for I have never felt this feeling before. This feeling is suspicion.

Someone, at some point, has touched this Sketchbook of Words, and that person wasn't me.

Oh. Hell. No.

Dear Laura,

Leaving this book in the Living Room is not the smartest idea, people might read it.

Yours,
James

Ps: I really like that picture of the little girl you draw. Did you give her my nose on purpose?

I. Hate. James. So. Much.

YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO READ MY WONDERFUL SKETCHBOOK OF WORDS!

Jeez! Does no one know what common courtesy is?

YOU DON'T JUST READ SOMEONE'S DIARY! EVEN IF IT IS JUST LYING AROUND!!!!

MERLIN! What the hell is wrong with people? Is it my fault that I had gone to the kitchen to get a butterbeer then got distracted by Sir Renaldi for six hours?

Okay. I'll admit that sounded pretty lame. Even to me...

GAH!

When I was on Earth, there was this super awesome muggle "video game". You could make your own person and control them.

Every time (EVERY TIME) I accidentally/purposefully started a fire, everyone would flock towards the fire.

It pissed me off a lot.

I never thought that that would actually happen in real life.

I was so wrong...

Lucy's house burnt down (Lucy's that really pretty girl who I bought chocolate for with Will's money), and everyone in the neighborhood came outside to watch. They just stood there.

It was friggin' ridiculous.

~Loony

P.S. I can't remember what the game was called. Somethin' silly and cute. <3

Mel's called another meeting.

Bleh.

I was in the middle of painting an epic rendition of a certain prego sibling. <3

She probably wouldn't appreciate it since she looked pretty, er, bubbly? in it.

Still, though, I don't wanna be here. My bed was really comfy.

Oh, Mel's talking now.

Will report in a few moments.

...
...
...

Lucy's moving in! That's great, right? So is her brother. I don't remember his name (even if it was said less than four minutes ago). Christian? Alexander? Meh. I'll learn it eventually.

Mel's moving out, too. I'm happy for her since she's moving in with James. I don't really know what's going on with them--I'm kinda too scared to ask--but I think this is good for them and the baby.

Though, if she's leaving, I don't know who'd be in charge. It would presumably be the eldest (Will), but the older siblings haven't really done that great a job at caring for the younger ones.

I know I'm not gonna be in charge. They probably wouldn't trust me to be in charge of the house. I don't even trust myself to take care of Sir Renaldi! That's why he's always wondering around. And I have Olli helping me with the cutie.

Merlin, I'm both excited and freaking out about what's gonna happen. I hope we don't break the house...

Must start paying attention to the elders,

Laura.

P.S. I'll report later.

Dear S.o.W. (like the nickname? no? Okay, then...),

Long time no write, huh? I didn't lose you. No. Totally not.

Heh heh. Heh heh. Hehhhh....

Anyway, there's this box in the middle of the room....what the hell is it doing there?

I kinda wanna check it out now....

It's probably nothing, though.

I got a baby.

That's what was in the box.

Thayne and I had a baby.

I'm shocked it didn't die.

I mean, yeah, it's not real, but, with my track record at keeping things alive, that was still pretty damn surprising.

Also, Mel had her baby!

Jeez, so many babies. Like a baby boom.

I suppose the storks have been busy, eh?

Meh, I don't really know what else to say...

Oh! Billy got into trouble with Terra. It's really funny (and somewhat cute/gross).

He walked out on her class (you never walk out on her class unless you want a really upset Terra, and she's too nice to want to upset) and ended up making out with Lucy.

The idea of Will and Lucy together is really cute (I just know they like each other! I think...I'm really bad at paying attention to stuff...), but thinking of my twin eating another person's face makes me want to hurl.

I've seen him attack a poor, unsuspecting burger before. Poor Terra, having to catch Billy and Luce snogging each other senseless...

Anyway, I have to go. I told Lucy I would try to talk Terra out of enforcing her punishment on her. Will's a big boy, he can handle his own problems. And if he can't...

Well, it's kinda pathetic if you need your little sister to save your ass, isn't it?

I doubt Ter will just drop the punishment, but maybe I can convince her to just take some points or give Luce detention or something.

Wish me luck,

Lozza
