The Battle Of Evermore Empty The Battle Of Evermore

Post by Melanie Frost Mon Jun 13, 2011 2:29 pm

Melanie entered the kitchen silently, she and the other three boys were supposed to have their detention here all together. A part of her just wanted to make up with them and maybe apologize to the boy she smacked but another part of her wanted to take that frying pan over there and bang them all with it.

She sighed and looked around, the kitchen was pretty much a mess and they would be cleaning it all up. She sighed again and took a seat waiting for the other boys.

Jack entered the kitchen for his detention with the other three miscreants from his Levi Ball class to see that the redheaded girl who had smacked him in the face with a Levi Board was already there.

He wasn't sure whether to apologise for winding her up, or to even speak to her at all in case she decked him with some kitchen appliance, but he decided to say hello anyway.

"Hiya."

Leo was third to enter the place where he had been told to go for his detention. He recognized the girl whom he had flown into, and the guy's whom's nose she had broken. He decided to stand with Jack, because he liked the boy better.

"Hello," he greeted them both, and he leaned against one of the counters in the kitchen. He wondered if he should apologize, but he didn't really felt like it, so he didn't.

Melanie looked up as the boy she had smacked entered, feeling a little embarrassed she said "Hey," and then looked down. "How's your nose?" she added under her breath not sure if the boy heard it.

She looked up again to see the boy that had flown into her enter. She narrowed her eyes slightly before she gave him a silent "Hey." and then went back to staring at the white wall in front of her.

"Oh, hey," Jack said to the boy who had helped him earlier, and gave him a small smile.

He looked at the redheaded girl who mumbled something, but he couldn't work out what she said and so just nodded. When's that uber blond kid gonna arrive? he wondered. The sooner he got there, the sooner it would be over and they could go back to their dorms. He didn't like Professor Mohr very much, he had decided.

Zoltan entered the kitchens and noticed the other 3 were already there. He walked over to stand by the girl, she seemed alot nicer than the other two.

"Hello," he greeted them, nodding his head to each in turn. He looked around at the messy kitchens and sighed. "I guess we she get started then, yeah?"

Melanie looked up as the final boy entered and she decided she liked him the most.
Mostly because a) he had not flown into her and caused her to fall to the ground and b) he had not called her a ginger. Those two things made her want to murder something or well someone - but she had promised her self to at least try to be a bit calm today.

She shrugged, "I guess we should start cleaning," she said but made no sign of movement.

"You're right," Jack agreed, though he made no sign of movement either. The kitchen looked a little difficult to sort out, truthfully.

Sighing, he pushed himself onto a counter and waited until somebody would make use first move.

Melanie sighed, she swung her legs back and forth for awhile before she slid down from the chair and jumped on the floor. "Cleaning time," she sighed to her self as she walked over the the corner and grabbed a sweeper.
She started sweeping the floor absent-minded and not really paying attention to what the other boys were doing.

After a while she noticed a couple of kiwi's lying on the floor, she sighed and bent down to grab them, they were too big to sweep into her pretty pile of crap.
She looked around the room for a garbage bin and saw one behind one of the brown haired boys - the one that she had smacked in the face.
She - without really looking - threw the kiwi towards the bin, but maybe should've been focusing more because instead of hitting into the bin, it flew straight into the brown haired boy's shoulder and spluttered into million green pieces all over him and the wall.

Jack, who had been staring into space, was knocked back to his senses by a large rotten kiwi.

Gasping slightly, he glowered at the redheaded girl. "Okay, what is your problem with me, Ginge?" he asked her irritatedly, wiping kiwi splatter from his face.

Melanie narrowed her eyes. "Well other than the fact you keep calling me ginger you mean?" she asked but then gestured towards the kiwi splatters on the walls. "This was actually an accident though," she laughed out. "I was aiming for the garbage bin, but my mind must've thought you were it," she said with a fake sweet smile. "Guess my nose job didn't fix your face enough."

Jack restrained a small smile, before swinging his legs over the table and ducking behind it. Grabbing onto a banana, he pointed it at the girl and squeezed it hard, so that it shot out of it's skin with force.

Melanie squeaked as the banana made contact with her chest, probably staining her white t-shirt for good.

"Oh Mister Nose wants to play?" she muttered out darkly as she walked over towards the table behind her and grabbed a rather old looking cupcake and chugged it towards the boy - but he dodged just in time, so instead of the cupcake hitting him it hit the other dark haired boy.
Woops.

Leo was just peacefully cleaning the kitchens, ignoring the other around him because he wanted to get this over with so he could go back to the common room, when he suddenly got hit in the face with a cupcake. He growled as he pulled the sticky thing of his face.

"Okay, who did that!" he exclaimed, glaring daggers at all three of them.

Zoltan began to clean the kitchens, ignoring the others. That was, until the food started flying. He had trouble holding back his laughter as the girl and one of the dark haired boys started fighting.. again.

"Wasn't me!" he said, holding his hands up in front of him when the other boy glared at them. He didn't know any of their names yet, so he figured he'd introduce himself and maybe they would too. "I'm Zoltan, by the way. Zoltan Maslin."

Melanie smiled sheepishly as she wiped some cup-cake frosting off her fingers on her jeans and prayed the dark haired boy didn't notice.

She turned to the blonde boy - Zoltan and grinned mischievously; she just wanted to have a little bit of fun.
She grabbed the other kiwi that had been laying on the floor and threw it at him. "Nice to meet you Zoltan, I'm Melanie Frost," she grinned out.

Zoltan noticed the girl wiping the frosting off her fingers and grinned, shaking his head slightly.

Next thing he knew, his face was covered in kiwi. He couldn't help but laugh as he picked up a cloth from the counter and wiped his face clean. "Nice to meet you too, Melanie," he said, turning to the other two boys. "And you two are?"

"Me?" Jack said with a grin. "My name's Jonathan. Jonathan Michael Holloway." He lobbed the banana skin in Zoltan's direction before ducking briefly, and then resurfacing. "But you can call me Jack, if you have to."

He was beginning to like these people a little more than he had previously, even if they were hurling food at him.

Leo listened to everyone introduce themselve. He hadn't missed when the only girl there liked the frosting off her fingers, so he had thrown the cupcake. Leo smirked evilly and with a flick of his wand, using the new spell he had learned, Wingardium Leviosa, three pies that had currently been lying on the table lifted up and floated in the air.

"Leo Wyatt, nice to meet you all," he said, and then he send a pie flying at each of them, chuckling loudly.

Now covered in pie, Jack slid over the counter and rummaged through the cupboard, until he found a bottle of fizzy liquid. Shaking it up violently, he turned to Leo. "Nice to meet you," he said, before undoing the cap ever so slightly and spraying drink all over him. He turned and used his new found weapon on the other two, grinning from what felt like ear to ear.

Mel jumped up in surprise as the pie got thrown at her, and slowly licked her lips.
She watched amused as Jack sprayed the liquid at Leo, but squeaked up as he turned around and also sprayed it on her and Zoltan.

"That wasn't very nice," she scolded with a playful smirk before she skipped towards the fridge and pulled it open, pulling a ketchup bottle out of it.

Walking back closer to the three boys, she opened the ketchup bottle and squeezed hard and watched as ketchup flew everywhere.

Jack, who was caught full in the face with the ketchup, laughed.

"That," he said with a grin, "is it."

He routed around in the fridge until he found what he was looking for, a bottle of freezing cold water. He smirked, and poured it over Zoltan's head.
